The task was to design a unique logo for the 80th anniversary of one of Singapore's most successful jewellers, known for gold, diamonds and gem-set jewellery — with a particular emphasis on jade.

The mark expresses the unity and everlasting prosperity On Cheong has built over 80 years. The 8 and 0 are tied together to show the company's unity, and the 8 doubles as an infinity symbol, celebrating enduring prosperity past and future.

The logo won a competition while I was still a student, and was featured in the Malay press.
