Indians are value-conscious and spend a considerable amount of time deal hunting. But it can be a time-consuming process that doesn’t always pay off.

Most people weren’t in the habit of turning to Google for shopping suggestions.

Instead, they are lured in by other shopping platforms that are full of deals. We had to showcase how Google was different. How it not only collated deals and offers, but also offered advice, reviews and other relevant information to help people make more informed shopping decisions.

Our approach was a humorous portrayal of helpless shoppers and how Google’s product suggestions and search results perfectly solve the problem they find themselves in. Told through real UGC, each story in the campaign was created after consulting Google shopping data and insights.

The result was that the campaign got 70M+ views, 9% increase in Brand Appeal Score, 39% view-through rate and 11% increase in awareness. Watch the case study below.
